CAMP CAMBODIA PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Camp Cambodia offers you the opportunity to embark on an international cultural exchange program like no other. Your Camp Cambodia odyssey has it all. You will spend 2 days and 2 nights in the capital Phnom Penh, 4 days and 4 nights volunteering at the Cambodian Wildlife Sanctuary, immersing yourself in elephant, other wildlife, and forest conservation projects as well as teaching English to students at the local village school. You will spend another 4 days and nights at a Cambodian village homestay, restoring a historic school and delivering volunteer English lessons to students in the village. The weekends will be yours to enjoy and explore Phnom Penh and Seam Reap.

CAMP CAMBODIA ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh– Meet and Greet
Day 2 & 3: Discover and Explore Phnom Penh
Day 3: Overnight bus to Seam Reap
Day 4: Free Day (Unwind and Relax by the Pool)
Day 5: TEFL/TESOL Training & Khmer Lesson
Days 6 - 10: Group Splits into 2 groups (A and B) & both groups go away for 4 days and 4 nights


Group A goes to the Cambodian Wildlife & Elephant Sanctuary
(Duties include Forest Restoration, Elephant and other Wildlife Conservation projects and teaching English to local children)

Group B goes to A Cambodian Village Homestay
(Duties include sprucing up the English Language School and teaching English to local children)

Day 10: Both Groups (A and B) travel back to Seam Reap on Morning of day 10.
Days 10 – 11: Free Weekend (Unwind and Relax in Seam Reap)
Day 12: TEFL/TESOL Training #2 & Khmer Lesson #2
Days 13 – 17: Group Splits into 2 (A and B) &goes away for 4 days and 4 nights


Group A goes to A Cambodia Village (Painting School and teaching English)

Group B goes to the Elephant Sanctuary

Day 17: Both Groups (A and B) travel back to Seam Reap on Morning of 17th day.
Day 17 – 18: Free Weekend (Unwind and Relax in Seam Reap)
Day 19: Do a tour of typical Cambodian Village. Teach at the Community Center
Day  20: Teach at the villages Self Help Community Center or another School
Day 21: Free Day
Day 22: Last Day of the Program
